3K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Description Position Summary Supports and assists operative teams with the daily flow of activities of the operating room (OR) and patient care by cleaning/disinfecting the operating room suites and related areas, transporting patients and equipment, stocking supplies, and performing other duties as assigned.
Successful performance of this role helps UH provide safe, helpful and courteous care to patients and directly provides safe, helpful and courteous support services to operative teams.
Initiates and performs tasks according to established guidelines.
Essential Functions Facilitate the efficient turnover of operating rooms between cases and preparation for the following case.
Transport patients, trays, blood gases, specimens and equipment.
Support operative team with various requests while cases are in progress.
Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to enhance patient care and facilitate daily operations.
Participate as a productive member of the OR Assistant team.
Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Qualifications Qualifications Education High School Equivalent / GED Required Work Experience OR cleaning/disinfecting experience Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must be able to lift and push heavy objects such as patients, supply and patient carts, beds, and equipment.
Required Must have knowledge of safe and proper handling of hazardous waste and other substances (training provided on the job).
Required Must have knowledge regarding various positioning equipment (training provided on the job).
Required Must have CPR skills (training provided on the job).
Required In constant motion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
