Buyer - Planner - Scheduler

Our client has a direct hire need for a Buyer / Planner / Scheduler job near Chardon, OH. You must have a minimum of five years experience in this role and have knowledge with MS Excel and preferably JDE. You will be responsible for providing a production schedule for the entire facility that maximizes output and efficiency while meeting lead-time expectations of customers. You will also provide daily management of domestic/international suppliers, and ensure on time deliveries of a quality product/service in a cost-effective manner. The salary for this position begins at $55,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience.

The Buyer / Planner / Scheduler job responsibilities include:

Schedule designated value stream to maintain high service levels to external customers.
Participate and drive continuous improvement as part of daily standard work.
Partner with production and shipping teams to meet on time delivery.
Maintain accurate JDE parameters.
Establish purchase order format to support each item in an accurate manner.
Responsible for maintaining inventory levels based on the material plan.
Expedite materials to meet changes in production schedules with a root cause, corrective action approach.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred
JDE experience preferred
APICS certification preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Microsoft Office experience required (Microsoft Outlook, Excel (advanced) and Access)
Tactical experience with lean principles, material flow, and delivery applications
