SUMMARY
This position is the lead manufacturing finance resource for manufacturing plant. Individual will partner with the Director of Operations to support operational analytical and control needs and take a leadership role in cost containment activities. In addition, the Senior Operations Analyst will work closely with the Cost Accounting Team, the Shared Service Accounting group, manufacturing analysts from other NA sites and the Director of Finance Operations and Supply Chain to implement standard processes and procedures.

Key job requirements include strong analytical skills, demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing costing, strong orientation to action, a sense of urgency, and demonstrated ability to lead process improvement activities. Strong accounting and financial knowledge and ability to effectively communicate both orally and written is critical.

Position will require some travel to other locations and will involve taking on one to two additional smaller facilities going forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for becoming a business partner with operations personnel to help identify and drive cost reductions and make business decisions.
Prepare appropriate financial analysis to validate business decisions and guide operations management.
Responsible for leading plant operations forecasting and planning activities, including:
Earned hours and Production Forecasts
Labor expenses and Productivity forecasts
Manufacturing expenses
Standard Margin and Product Mix
Inventory balances and Inventory expense items (scrap / inventory adjustments)
Primary liaison with the shared accounting function to ensure clarity of roles and information flow.
Responsible for developing and maintaining sound control procedures at the site, including:
Inventory controls and procedures (Cycle Counting, E&O analysis)
Fixed assets, including physical inventory and tagging
Revenue recognition
SOX compliance
Responsible for working with other Manufacturing Analysts within the division to drive standardized processes and procedures across all facilities.
Responsible for various corporate reporting requirements.
Complete special projects as assigned by Director of Operations, Finance Director and Vice President of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA, CMA or MBA certifications preferred but not required.
Requires 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressively increasing responsibilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting operations and controls.
Must possess strong knowledge of GAAP.
Must possess strong systems knowledge and proven skills in implementing technology to achieve productivity improvements.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to develop new ways to solve tough problems.
Ability to readily adapt to change and manage change.
Self-motivated and eager to assume additional responsibilities.
Consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and ethics.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Solid financial, analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail.
Must be flexible, organized and able to accurately work under time constraints and deadlines.
Ability to take work direction from several people and effectively prioritize duties.
Must possess strong leadership skills.
Excellent computer skills, including advanced working knowledge of Excel.
Experience with JDE or similar financial systems software a plus.
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
